As a stamping bearing supplier, I would like to share some information about stamping bearings.
Bearings are objects that help the internal rotation of machinery. The main common industries that use bearings are automobiles, aerospace and conveyor belts, but bearings are also used in our daily appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators and vacuum cleaners. NSAR has a variety of bearings suitable for machinery and automobiles for sale, contact our industry experts.
Basically, the role of the bearing is to help support the rotating rod so that it can run smoothly. As we all know, almost every machine contains a rotating rod, so it is safe to say that bearings have become a necessity in the machinery industry.
Introduction to stamped bearings and their installation methods
Stamped bearings generally consist of an inner ring, an outer ring, a stamping body and a cage. It relies on external forces such as presses and plates, strips, tubes and profiles to produce plastic deformation or separation to obtain workpieces of the desired shape and size. The blanks for stamping are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips. Stamped flange bearings combine flanges and bearings into one, and are mainly used in various trolley wheels with large load-bearing capacity, conveyor rollers, travel wheels, and industrial and transportation equipment with high quality requirements. Stamped wheels can avoid wear and increase the load-bearing capacity of bearings.
Stamped bearings VS sliding bearings
The difference between stamped bearings and sliding bearings: First of all, from the structural surface, stamped bearings use stamped bodies to support rotating shafts. Therefore, the contact area is a point, and the greater the force of the stamped body, the more contact points there are. Sliding bearings use a smooth surface to support the rotating shaft, so the contact area is a plane. Secondly, the movement mode is different. The movement mode of the bearing is stamping. Sliding bearings are sliding movement modes, so the friction form is incomplete. Similarly, stamped bearings are easy to use and maintain, reliable in operation, good in starting performance, and have a high load-bearing capacity at medium speeds.
Installation method: The old-fashioned method of installing stamped bearings on the hollow shaft of the mill is to turn the hollow shaft into a bearing seat suitable for the inner diameter of the bearing, and the bearing hot-mounting device, bearing parts, bearing outer ring top cover, and top sleeve are fixed to the hollow shaft with front and rear spiral cone bolts to prevent compression. During the operation of the mill, the front and rear spiral barrels and fixing bolts loosen, often causing displacement of the top cover and the hollow shaft. Dust will enter the bearing box through the gap between the hollow shaft and the top cover, making the grease dirty, resulting in poor lubrication and bearing damage. In order to avoid the above situation, a new installation method is designed. The new installation method is to thicken the hollow shaft diameter at the site where the stamping bearing is installed on the hollow shaft of the mill, and use thin oil for cooling to reduce the temperature of the hollow shaft bearing to a normal range below 60 degrees.
